Check Status of VMs in a Protected Domain

This article applies to all JSDR software versions.
When VM protection is initially enabled, the protection status will indicate “Initial Sync.” After commit has occured in the object store, the protection status will change to “Recoverable.”
GUI
Do the following to check the status of a Protected Domain using the GUI.
Log in to JetStream DR from the vCenter server.
Click the Protected Domains tab.
Select a protected domain from the list.
Look under Protected VMs to view details of VM protection status.
Log File
If you do not have access to the GUI screen but you can access the MSA bundle, current protection status can be checked by reviewing the log file /tmp/vme-sub2.log.
