Issue

VMs with independent, non-persistent disks cannot be protected.

Cause

This is a technical limitation of the system. Your DR protection strategy should be designed to avoid conditions where this issue will be problematic.

 

This condition is not indicated in the user interface and must be avoided to prevent confusion.
