Reverting VM Snapshot Cancels Protection
Reverting VM Snapshot Cancels Protection
This article applies to all JSDR software versions.
Issue
Reverting a VM snapshot will cancel protection of the VM which will be indicated in the user interface.
Solution
The the storage policy will not be automatically detached from the reverted VM. Therefore it is necessary to manually delete old snapshots and then remove the cancelled protection. This can be done through the user interface.
