Replication Cancelled – Adding Disks

Replication Cancelled – Adding Disks

This article applies to JSDR software version 4.1 and below.

Issue

This is an example of replication being cancelled for a protected VM.

Cause

This issue can occur if disks are added to a VM with snapshots or adding disks to a VM in a CFO domain where the remote DRVA is not accessible. In these cases, newly added disks will be added in a "replication-cancelled" state.

  • To protect the newly added disks:

  1. Un-protect the VM.

  2. Re-protect the VM.

  • The new disks should now be able to resume protection.
