(Alarm) VM Protection Cancelled
This article applies to JSDR software versions 4.1 and prior.
Alarm
Reverting a snapshot on a protected VM triggers the “VM protection cancelled" alarm.
Example: Alarm definition in vCenter.
This issue should not occur in JetStream DR version 4.2.x and later.
Resolution
If VM protection is cancelled when reverting a snapshot, do the following:
Stop VM protection.
Execute a snapshot revert.
Start VM protection.
