Problem: When vCenter triggers the "JetStream DR: Bitmap mode 'on' duration exceeded" alert, the percentage of operating time data could not efficiently reach the DRVA causing newly written data to be captured by the IOFilters in bitmaps for replication at a later point in time.

Cause:

  • There is a network disruption between the DRVA and the object store.

  • When the replication log is full and cannot be written to.

Resolution:

  • Check if the DRVA is up and Running or not.

  • Validate the VM/ Domain replication status.

  • Navigate to the Statistics tab select the problem domain and validate the replication graph to understand the replication speed.

  • Ensure no connectivity issue between DRVA and Object store.

  • Ensure no error with DRVA or Replication Log.

  • IO Filter to DRVA communication.
