After initiating planned failover there could be an error with protected domain ownership.

We could see this error if protected domain in use from other site.

Note: Always validate primary and recovery sites to know more about configuration.

“Failover” is typically used in response to a disaster event where resources should be deployed to the recovery site and VMs recovered immediately.
