  1. Log in to the MSA web console or use SSH.

  2. Issue the command: service vme2 restart.

    • The PostgreSQL and Tomcat8 services of used by JetStream DR software will be stopped and then restarted.

    • The PostgreSQL service is the MSA DB service and the Tomcat8 service is a webserver service.

Note

While the PostgreSQL and Tomcat8 services are stopped it is not possible to conduct any operations from the vCenter JetStream DR UI plugin.

From JetStream DR software version 4.3 and beyond, it is possible to restart the Tomcat services Tomcat8 service only. Use the following command to restart TomcatTomcat8: #service msa-tomcat restart.
