vCenter server and MSA logs are needed to investigate any JetDR software related issues.

  1. vCenter server logs

2. MSA Logs

  • Login to MSA appliance using web browser

  • MSA will show registered vCenter server details.

  • Select “ Click here “ tab under collect MS support logs

  • After successfully generating the MS support logs, it will give option to download.

Run the command “ jetdr ms --support “

Gathering the MSA support bundle via the command line interface (CLI) can be performed when the MSA web UI is accessible. This should be done under supervision from the JetStream support team.

Instructions

  • Login to the MSA appliance console or use an SSH session (PuTTY).

  • Execute the command: jetdr ms --support

  • Logs can be accessed from the directory /var/lib/vme2/sub/ or they can be downloaded using the HTTP link shown after executing the above command.
