Issue
While installing JetStream DR software using the AVS run command Install-JetDRWithStaticIP
, the error message “failure to get session ID” , there won't be may appear without any progress being reported even after multiple retries.

Solution
This Issue could occur when a issue can occur with invalid MSA credentials/IP or if Port 443 is blocked.
Solution
Make sure to provide correct MSA credentials and IP address.
The TCP port 443 should be open from AVS Run Command systems to communicate with JetStream MSA.
If it is blocked please unblock this port Check and if necessary, unblock TCP port 443 to resolve the issue.
